Privacy policy Rev B
- There is no account, no sign-in and no password. Basesaber never asks who you are, and you can use all of it without telling it.
- The hilt you design, the name you give it and the handwriting it is set in are kept in your own browser's local storage, under the keys
basesaber.hilt,basesaber.nameandbasesaber.hand. They stay on your device. Clearing your browser data deletes them, and nothing here can recover them. - A share link carries the design inside the link itself, encoded in the address, along with the name and handwriting if you gave it a name. It is not stored on any server. Anyone holding the link can open that design, and the link contains nothing else about you.
- There are no cookies, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking scripts. Nothing counts your visit.
- If you send a note through the feedback form, we receive what you wrote, the email address you chose to give if you gave one, the hilt you had open, your browser and graphics-card description, and which version of the site you were using. Those last three are attached so a fault can be reproduced.
- Feedback is handled by Netlify Forms and reaches us by email. It is used to reply to you and to fix what you reported, and for nothing else. It is never sold, and never passed on for marketing.
- The site is hosted by Netlify, which keeps ordinary server logs, including the address your request came from. That processing is Netlify's and is described in their own privacy notice.
- The typefaces are served by Google Fonts, so Google sees the request your browser makes for them. No other third party is contacted by this site.
- To have a note you sent deleted, ask through the feedback form or reply to the message you received, and it will be removed. If this policy changes, the revised version appears on this page.
